How to make a wall clock pretty: DIY decorative paper flower clock | DIY Home decor | Free templates

Tutorial and Paper flower template is free for this project 😁

Time just seems to slip by extra fast these days so I tried to emulate my mom, who for me is the master of time management. One of her tricks is to have a clock in every room in the house. That seems to work most especially for me who often doesn't wear a wristwatch at home.

I bought a bunch of clocks for the house, and for my home office, I got a white and simple wall clock. After I placed the clock on the wall, it just seems.. Well.. Sad.

So decided to transform my white and boring clock to a decorative paper flower clock with paper petals.

Tadaaah! My wall flower clock! Literally 😁

Well the good news is, you can do it too! I have made a tutorial which you can check below and I think I already have mentioned that the templates are FREE!

Yes, they are! Get them HERE

And, yes, here's the Tutorial 😀:

Tools and materials:

Disclosure: Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.

  • Round clock- The clock I used in the tutorial has a slightly different frame compared to the one that is linked here. I cannot find the same clock in their website but I was able to buy that white "Mainstays" clock in-store (Walmart)

  • Cricut- Optional

  • Cardstock White - This is the color I used in the tutorial. So the materials and color you will be using are your choice

  • Spray paint gold- Optional

  • Cardstock 12 x 12- The one is the link is something close you can get online. The one I specifically used here in the demo is from Jo-Ann's. However it is only available in-store.

  • Hot glue sticks- * I usually buy in bulk and I love Surebonder glue sticks. (Stay away from the Adtech ones. That's my advice)

  • Dowel- Optional

So there you go. I hope you enjoy making the project. Do send me a pictures or even pictures (the ore the merrier! 😄) or tag me either in Instagram or Facebook when you have made this project.

Well, have a great weekend!

Lots of love,

Deaney
